Forbes library is part of the Mass E-Book Project. The Mass E-Book Project is a pilot program with participating libraries throughout the state. Only patrons from pilot libraries can check out and download these materials.

Currently the Mass E-Book Project offers two platforms for e-content:

  • Axis360, for e-books and e-audiobooks, including best sellers.
  • BiblioBoard, for historical documents, media, and other curated content, arranged by topic. A great resource for homework or for browsing!
  • EBL, a great resource of all sorts of books, especially nonfiction. A very large collection, EBL offers content across all academic and professional subject areas, available as week-long loans.

You can search the content of both platforms together in the Mass E-Book Project Catalog.
