Events and Programs

The Forbes Library offers a variety of cultural and educational programs for all ages. Local author readings, movies and lecture series, classes and workshops, exhibits, concerts and dramatic performances, are but a sampling of the programs available. All events are free unless otherwise noted.

  • a weekly Poetry Discussion Group

  • a semi-annual Poetry Slam

  • Poetry, fiction and non-fiction writing workshops
  • Writer-In-Residence programs
