• MassCat
  MassCat is a library catalog of holdings from school, medical, law, special, historical society, museum and a few public libraries. Of particular interest to local history and genealogy research are the Connecticut Valley Historical Museum in Springfield and the Pocumtuck Valley Memorial Association Library in Deerfield.

  Directory of more than 90,000 genealogy sites. After using the subscription databases, this site is a great next step. Newly redesigned June 2011.

    A user maintained directory of resources for genealogists looking for information about their Hampshire County ancestors.

    This is a directory of user maintained resources about Hampden County towns.
• National Archives and Records Administration (NARA)
  See the Genealogists/Family Historians page for information on what genealogical records can be found in NARA Regional offices. (The nearest Regional offices is the Friends of the Silvio O. Conte National Archives in Pittsfield and houses over 75,000 reels of NARA microfilm.)
